Introduction

 

We are a small kennel located in the United Kingdom who have owned German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP) for 26 years. Our dogs are dual purpose gundogs. In the winter they are worked in the field during the shooting season and are also entered into field trials. We also show selected dogs in the summer months and competitively we have had success in both disciplines. We have made up a full champion in show and field trial Ch Marimay Natural Beauty. 

 

We occasionally breed and when we do we breed for temperament and type. We use carefully selected stud dogs based on these two criteria and also on the evidence, as far as possible, of the absence of any genetic problems. We breed for ourselves and puppies are occasionally available.

 

We have also recently expanded our kennel to include a whippet, purchased from the world renowned Nevedith kennel, who has been successfully shown achieving his title of Champion at Paignton Championship Show in 2008, Ch Nevedith Mfa Markwis at Marimay. ‘Frankie’ is at stud to selected bitches and we hope to have a puppy from him in the near future.

 

Also in our kennel we have two Border Terriers who are purely pets and a working cocker spaniel.
